The Thai League 1 (THA1) is the top football league in the Thailand football system. At the end of the 2022-2023 THA1 season, the THA1 teams listed below qualify for the following non-league play:
- 2023-2024 AFC Champions League - Group Stage:
- 1st place THA1 team
- 2023-2024 AFC Champions League - Playoff Stage:
- 2nd and 3rd place THA1 teams
The winner of the 2022-2023 Thai FA Cup, typically an THA1 team, also receives a berth in the Group Stage of the 2023-2024 AFC Champions League.

Season Format
Each THA1 team plays Home-Away matches with the other 15 THA1 teams for a total of 30 league matches. Table ranking ties are broken by (1) head-to-head points, (2) head-to-head goal difference, (3) head-to-head goals scored, (4) goal difference, (5) total goals scored, (6) Fairplay points, then (7) playoff without extra time.

Relegation
At the end of the 2022-2023 Regular season, the 14th, 15th, and 16th place THA1 teams will be relegated directly to the THA2.
