Summary
The UEFA Women's Euro 2025 (EUROW) is scheduled to run from 2 July 2025 to 27 July 2025. This tournament is held every 4 years. The EUROW will be held in 8 cities in Switzerland. The final will be held in St. Jakob-Park (Basel). England are the defending champion.
Participants were determined by the Women's Euro 2025 Qualification.
Group Stage table ranking ties are broken by (1) points accumulated in head-to-head matches amongst tied teams, (2) goal difference amongst tied teams, (3) goals scored amongst tied teams, (4) tie breakers 1-3 will be reapplied to 2 tied teams if more than 2 were originally tied, (5) goal difference, (6) goals scored, (7) total wins, (8) penalty shoot-out, (9) Fair Play conduct, then (10) position in EUROW qualifiers. For all "Knockout" matches, if a match is still tied after regulation time, extra time (two 15-minute periods) is played. If still tied after extra time, a penalty shootout is held.
