Season Format
The 2023-2024 SUI1 season is split into 2 phases. In the 1st Phase, each SUI1 team plays matches with the other 11 SUI1 teams 3 times for a total of 33 league matches. In the 2nd Phase, the 1st thru 6th place Phase 1 teams play in the Championship Group, and the 7th thru 12th place Phase 1 teams play in the Relegation Group. Each team plays matches against the other 5 teams in their group for 5 additional matches per team. Table rankings ties are broken by (1) goal difference, (2) goals scored, (3) head-to-head goal difference, (4) away goals scored, then (5) a drawing.
