Summary

The Lithuanain A Lyga (LTU1), or TOPsport A Lyga, is the top professional division of Lithuania's football system. At the end of the 2024 season, the LTU1 teams listed below qualify for the following non-league play:

  • 2025 - 2026 UEFA Champions League - 1st Qualifying Round:
    • 1st place 2024 LTU1 team
  • 2025 - 2026 UEFA Europa Conference League - 2nd Qualifying Round:
    • 2nd and 3rd place 2024 LTU1 teams

The winner of the 2024 Lietuvos futbolo federacijos taurė (Lithuanian Football Federation Cup), typically a LTU1 team, also receives a berth in the 1st Qualifying Round of the 2025 - 2026 UEFA Europa Conference League.

During the 2024 LTU1 Regular season, each team plays Home-Away matches with the other 9 LTU1 clubs twice for a total of 36 league matches. Table rankings ties are broken by (1) playoff (to decide champion only), (2) head-to-head points, (3) head-to-head goal difference, (4) head-to-head goals scored, (5) head-to-head matches won, (6) goal difference, (7) goals scored, then (8) matches won.

At the end of the 2024 LTU1 season, the 10th place LTU1 team was relegated to the LTU2 and the 9th place LTU1 team will have a Home/Away highest aggregate goals wins Relegation/Promotion Playoff with the 2nd place LTU2 team.
