The Egyptian Premier League (EGY1) is the top football league in Egypt's football system. At the end of the 2024-2025 EGY1 season, the EGY1 teams listed below qualify for the following non-league play:
- 2026 CAF Champions League:
- 1st and 2nd place 2024-2025 EGY1 teams
- 2026 CAF Confederation Cup:
- 3rd and 4th place 2024-2025 EGY1 teams
The winner of the 2024-2025 Egypt Cup, typically an EGY1 team, also receives a berth in the 2026 CAF Confederation Cup.

Season Format
The 2024-2025 EGY1 season consist of 2 phases. In the 1st Phase, each EGY1 team plays the other 17 EGY1 teams once. In the 2nd Phase, the top 9 and bottom 9 1st Phase teams play each other once for 25 total matches per team. 1st Phase table ranking ties are broken by (1) goal difference, then (2) goals scored. 2nd Phase table ranking ties are broken by (1) goal difference, (2) goals scored, then (3) a playoff.

Not applicable.
Relegation
At the end of the 2024-2025 EGY1 season, the 16th, 17th, and 18th place EGY1 teams will be relegated to the EGY2, and the 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place EGY2 teams will be promoted to the 2025-2026 EGY1.
