Each EGY1 team plays Home-Away matches with the other 17 EGY1 teams for a total of 34 league matches. Table ranking ties are broken by (1) head-to-head points, (2) head-to-head goal difference, (3) goal difference, (4) goals scored, then (5) a playoff.

Not applicable.

Relegation

At the end of the 2023-2024 EGY1 season, the 16th, 17th, and 18th place EGY1 teams will be relegated to the EGY2, and the 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place EGY2 teams will be promoted to the 2024-2025 EGY1.
