The Azebaijan Premier League (AZE1), or Topaz Premyer Liqası, is the top division/league in the Azerbaijan football system. At the end of the 2023-2024 AZE1 season, the AZE1 teams listed below qualify for the following non-league play:
- 2024-2025 UEFA Champions League - 1st Qualifying Round:
- 1st place 2023-2024 AZE1 team
- 2024-2025 UEFA Europa Conference League - 2nd Qualifying Round:
- 2nd and 3rd place 2023-2024 AZE1 teams
The winner of the 2023-2024 Azerbaijan Cup, typically an AZE1 team, also receives a berth in the 2nd Qualifying Round of the 2024-2025 UEFA Europa Conference League.

Season Format
Each team plays Home-Away matches with the other 9 AZE1 clubs twice for a total of 36 league matches. Table ranking ties are broken by (1) head-to-head points, (2) head-to-head goal difference, (3) head-to-head goals scored, (4) head-to-head away goals scored (only if 2 teams), (5) goal difference, then (6) total goals scored.

Relegation
At the end of the 2023-2024 AZE1 season, the 10th place AZE1 team will be relegated to the AZE2, while the 1st place AZE2 teams is promoted to the 2023-2024 AZE1.
